AYURVEDA on the other hand is important as the body is a medium that the souls and mind resides in. Hence, the strength and health of our body is crucial. Our body is a combination of certain elements which are Vata (ether), Pitha (fire+water) and Kapha (earth+water). When these elements are aligned in our body it can aid in a well balanced life.
